Don't get me wrong, Nolen. I think Sam is the more deserving, but I also know all about the voters' constant inclination to get it wrong.

I m pretty much counting on McCoy receiving a fair share of sympathy votes as well over this whole 3 way tie mess.

Looking at how the former winners are voting, The majority are going for Bradford, some for McCoy, and none for Tebow...I m sure Wuerrfel will send one his way

I would give it to Tebow for the leadership he shows on and off the field and if that press conference doesnt go down as one of the greatest of all time, then i will take the lions in the next IMD

I voted for Bradford because I don't like the idea of having a player win it more than once (even though I like Tebow) and Sam is playing in the title game. Colt McCoy should probably win it and be in the title game (considering they would be undefeated if not for a last second play by snubbed heisman finalists Crabtree and Harrell) and McCoy doesn't have the weapons that Bradford and Tebow do.
But, after it's all said and done, I think Bradford, McCoy, and Tebow will have the closest 3 way heisman vote of all time.
I think the high explosive offense of the Sooners will help Bradford win the heisman and possibly the national title... then here comes the draft.

I picked Bradford on the basis that he got to play in the conference title and will get a chance to play in the BCS national title.

Well, I'll be horn-swoggled! They did get it right.
Congrats to OU, the state of OK, and to Nolen Lake!

All 3 were deserving guys for sure. The limited amount of times I've been around him, he is a smart, down-to earth man who makes us proud.
Whats funny is that I had a few friends play in the all-state game with him in high school, and they couldn't imagine what OU saw in him. His arm was weak, his motion was awkward, and hardly anybody else wanted him. All I can say is
Thank God Bomar made the mistake he did.

All 4 were deserving. I think people are overlooking Harrell, in a very shaky QB draft despite the "system" QB label so many are looking to pin on him, he was a prep stud and he has proved he can drive and place intermediate and deep balls with touch. He's not Carson Palmer but he's better than most people think. He needs to work on: carrying the ball low, pocket presence, and put in 10-15lbs of muscle. But he is film junkie, a savvy leader and a streaky, but usually an accurate passer. He has pretty touch. Knows how to effectively mix up velocities. However, while his overall accuracy is much better than average, it's not nearly as good on coaches' tape as it appears to be on the stat sheet. He can get lazy with his footwork and needs to follow through and drive through his passes. He makes more throws off his back-foot far than needed. At times he will miss within the strike-zone, not always getting the ball to his WR's in-stride as much as he could, this can cost them a few big plays. He is more like Kevin Kolb than like Colt Brennan.

Bomar may still be the 1st senior QB selected.

I agree. He says he still runs a 4.65 or so after the ACL surgery and he had a pretty good year.
I also agree on Harrell. I think the thing that hurts him is statistically he has just done what every other TT quarterback has done under Leach. So he doesn't stand out, not to mention all the other gaudy numbers B12 QB's put up. If he would get his footwork straightened out, I think he would be a nice backup for somebody down the road.
