Full Version: Rams 4 round Mock

Mr. Knowitall
Well, it's a little early so I don't know the picks but we'll be top 10...going on that this is how I'd like the Draft to go:
Round 1: Andre Smith OT Alabama - I believe he's coming out, I was very against taking an OT last year because I disliked Long, however I love Smith out of Bama. He needs to work on his footwork and can sometimes be beat by passrushers but he's a mauling run blocker and if he gets a hand on you in pass blocking, you go nowhere.

Round 2: Trevard Lindley CB Kentucky - Trevard is a plain great athlete who has fared well against some great SEC WRs. He's got 4.3 to 4.4 speed and is not a tiny CB at about 6'0 185-195 pounds. I think he can develop into a great cover CB, he has excellent ball skills already.

Round 3: Chase Daniels QB Missouri or Graham Harrell QB Texas Tech - Not sure if either guys make it this far but both are accomplished QBs with 1 or 2 small faults. Harrell's faults are that he might be a system QB and a lack of athleticism. Daniels faults are his size and inconsistency. Daniels started the year on fire but fell apart midseason.

Round 4: Jamarko Simmons WR Western Michigan or Kenny McKinley WR South Carolina - Simmons is a fluid bigger WR who is a major sleeper right now. He has deceptive speed and can run after catch, he also has great field awarness and is very good at dragging his feet on the sideline. McKinley is a fast WR(not a burner though) who has very reliable hands. He is a great 3rd down WR who is not afraid to go over the middle. He is not big but he's smart, reliable and fast.(like a young Holt)

Id agree. I think that OL would be the first priority if not Smith, then probly Monroe or Oher. Ill agree with secondary help in the 2nd round. Maybe they can move up to the mid first and take Mizzous William Moore. If not any of the CBs are good.
I think I would go Harrell over Daniel at QB

Itll be interesting to see who wins the coaching job

I would LOVE to take a chance on one of those QB's or even Mark Sanchez. Thats if we dont take Bradford in the 1st(if he declares)

I really hope we don't take Sam, he won't be able to handle the job behind our OL.
