The NFL's Advisory Committee which is responsible for evaluating and returning grades to underclassmen that are interested in possibly declaring for the NFL Draft have received a total of 167 requests as of today from juniors, red-shirt sophomores and all others who are at least three years removed from their senior year in high school. A prospect's paperwork is sent to the NFL advisory committee, which will return a "draft round" grade to each player that requests one. The turnaround time is usually 10 to 14 days. It is expected that between 35-50 players will opt into this year's draft. The final date to declare is January 15th and then there is a four day grace period where any player that has declared, but has not signed with an agent can return to school before January 19th. The committee is a group of NFL general managers and scouting directors and they are as they say "shrouded in mystery."

Does that committee work for the NFL, NCAA or out side party like an arbitrator in MLB?
Do they actually make a mock pick by pick, round by round?
or
Just guess a general draft stock for a player?
I would like to see thier mock and compare it to others.
