http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft09/news/story?id=3833465Chris Mortenson is reporting that he is going. I think with Bradford coming back Sanchez realized that he has a shot to be the number one QB in the draft.
Personally I would rank my top five
1. Sanchez
2. Stafford
3. Freeman
4. Davis
5. Bomar
This is could easily change once the combine comes.

Stafford's coming back definitely pushed Sanchez out. He does indeed have a shot at being the first QB drafted.
My top guys, though, are:
Stafford
Sanchez
Freeman
White (QB/ath)
Reesing
Willy

I assume you mean Bradford.
Also Reesing is only a junior and is coming back to KU for his senior year.
No Nate Davis in your top 6?
I don't think you can put Pat White into a top 5 QB's. He is going to make it with an NFL team, but as a Antwan Randle-El type of player.

Out of this group that declared, I kinda like Freeman myself as far as the raw tools.
I would say
1. Freeman
2. Sanchez
3. Stafford
4. Bomar
5. Davis
I am very interested in seeing what Jason Boltus and Nathan Brown do.

Very surpising for me as I really thought he would stay as other USC quarterbacks have had plus I don't think he has enough experience to really render that high of a grade.
That being said, it is amazing to me how much Sanchez has progressed over the past year. He was incredible in the Rose Bowl making every through, showing great touch, and some of the best accuracy I have ever seen. He simply made it look easy out there. I think he is the most talented QB in this draft no doubt, but I don't see success for him for at least a couple years. Safer bet is Stafford.

Is it possible that one of those top 3 could fall to mid secound round?
Bears need to address the position, I would be happy with the best QB at 18, but not the 2nd best. At that point I would rather go S, OL, pass rusher and then get that QB in the second.

Oooo...Brandstater will break your heart, Jeff. Am I talking out of turn here Brett?
McGee is an interesting #4, but I like Willy slightly better. If Willy gets a tad stronger, you've got a potential Tom Brady on your hands.
Who is Chase Patton?

100% correct on Brandstater. He's a heartbreaker. I don't give him a draftable grade.

Chase Patton has a chance to be the next 'Matt Cassel' he is bigger and has stronger arm than the other 'Chase' who plays QB in Columbia.

I should have given more info in my post but I was on my way out the door. Patton has good size(6'5,220) and a strong arm...err what drama said.

Brandstater was that high on my list more because I don't believe so much in the ones below him.
But I'm still higher on Brandstater than many. I really value experience for college QBs. He's a three-year starter for Fresno state and got playing time behind Paul Pinegar during his RS Freshman year in 2005.
He's a very good athlete and definitely has good size for the position (although he'll have to spend a lot of time in an NFL weight room as a rookie -- physically, he looks a lot like Brady as a collegian). He has a strong enough arm to make all the throws and completed 60% of his passes this past year after completing 65% as a junior. He's an intelligent person, although he still has to show better decision-making on the field and will have to adapt to a pro-style offense after running the spread in college. He reminds me a bit of New England rookie Kevin O'Connell.
Anyone who sleeps on Brandstater after he struggled a bit as a senior will regret it in the future. I think this kid can be an NFL starting QB within two to three years.

Jeff,
I disagree. He is all you state above. However, he is a heart breaker and looks to me like a finished product. He's 6 years out of high school. He makes bad decisions and gets balls batted down even though he has good size. He doesn't feel the rush well. Fresno runs a pro style offense though, they don't run a spread.
