I don't know if anyone still reads this, but I'm new here. My name is dan. I'm a colts fan, and I'm also a fan of the NFL Draft and all of the workouts, etc the precede it. I've already made a mock draft if anyone wants to check it out. Also one last thing: I take a lot of interest in late round picks. Players like Antoine Bethea for my Colts. So I'll frequently ask about players who are projected to be mid to late round picks, and see whar everyones opinion of those players are. For example, right now I'm trying to do more research on Terrill Byrd, a defensive tackle from Cincinnati and Dominique Johnson, and cornerback from Jackson State. Anyway, I hope to get to see how you guys see things in this years draft.

I have seen both but I have paid special attention to Domonique [that's how he spells it] Johnson. He is nearly a lock to be the 1st HBCU player chosen. He is a transfer from Missouri, big: 6'1.4" 197, fast: 4.37
KEY STATS
• 9 career INTs at Jackson State
• At Missouri (17 tackles, 2 INTs) while at Columbia.
• Very long arms – excellent at getting a jam and re-routing receivers
• Solid burst and recovery speed
• Great break on the football
There are questions about his-
• Fundamentals – quick to abandon his back peddle and turn to run with receivers, also he's long-legged and struggles to mirror quicker receivers' routes
• Doesn’t get very involved in the run game
• He needs to prove he can be physical and disciplined enough in coverage, he is stronger than Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie but lacks fluid and his ball skills that made Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie a 1st rounder, but I'd be pretty surprised if he made it past the 3rd.

Thanks for all of the info. I love his mixture of height and speed. If he is indeed a 3rd round talent, then I don't want my Colts to get him. We have way bigger needs than depth in the secondary.
