I can't beleive that Te'o signed with Notre Dame. He should have signed with USC. I mean c'mon all the sick Hawaiin stand outs do it Poalamalu, Tatupu, Moala, Maualuga.....

yeah i think Te'o should of went with SC cause of their history of producing hawaian players and they develope some decent linebackers.
yeah teo was one of the bigger suprises, but some guys just cant deal with the stiff competion. i would rather go to a usc or florida and prove i was the best there than go to a Notre dame or michigan just so i can start early. look at clay matthews he walked on and worked hard to get on the starting depth chart he waited four years but it paid off now he is a first rounder. i wish oregon would havr gotten tajh boyd i think he could have been something special up there and gave the pac 10 more credibility
Tajh is a real prospect and he would have excelled in the WVU system as well, Teo would have had a shot at the Garnet and Gold #55, but he wanted to start as a freshman, we'll see.

Badgers picked up a huge commitment on signing day in Kraig Appleton(6-3, 190). He was on the face between the Badgers and the Illini, but Mom wanted him to go to Madison, so he did.

It's funny how players who come in as 2 star recruits like Aaron Curry and BJ Raji are top 10 prospects in the draft. I have always liked when stuff like that happens.

Agreed, I always love seeing when those guys come out into the draft as the best prospects.
Players out of HS are sometimes men amongst boys. They mature faster than other kids and then they get to college and have peaked. Then others are lightly regarded and are late bloomers. I really don't pay too much attention to these rankings of HS guys because if it was the case some teams would never be out of the top 5. Also, some kids get caught up in girls, drugs, drinking, laziness, or just burn out on football.
