With Kerry Collins most likely coming back for another year to start, Vince Young appearing to not be starting any time soon, and Jim Schwartz being the new head coach in Detroit, would, and could the Lions trade for Vince Young? Now this may seem very unlikely, but Schwartz may want to have a QB that he can rely on to run his offense, and with so many needs, the Lions may want to not use a draft pick on a QB who is very unproven. Tennessee fans are not too high on VY these days, and I think that Vince may just want to get out of Tennessee in hopes of resurrecting his career, and starting over. Now the Titans may not want to get rid of VY, but if he were to want out, and it seems as if he would, would the Lions try to get him? His numbers are not the greatest, but the guy is a winner. Now this may seem crazy, but I know he would love to go to Detroit, and play with some up-and-coming superstars in Kevin Smith, and Calvin Johnson, one of the most deadly receivers in the game today. Jim Schwartz could play a huge role in getting VY, and with his name being so respectable within the Titans organization, they may just be able to strike a deal. I think the Titans would be willing to give VY up for a 3rd round pick, maybe a second.
Tell me what you think...
