Well see if he changes his mind or not.

Does this mean that Mark Sanchez or Josh Freeman might be their choice at 17?

OK...I'd say Sanchez if he's there, trade the hell back with all due haste if he isn't.

Definitely. Rex Ryan is a defensive minded guy but he saw what a rookie QB did for the Ravens last year. With Freeman drawing comparisons to Flacco/Rothlesberger I think he'll be the pick for sure.

Freeman is a STUD, and has as high an upside as those two guys, but at this point in his development he is not NFL ready, and not worthy of that pick. He is a junior, and they have a notoriously poor rookie success rate.

I'm not saying he won't be the pick, but that they should trade back if they think he'll still be available a little later.

For Freeman's sake, I hope he goes to a team that doesn't expect him to start this year.

Well I hope the Jets go after a journeymen free agent then because I dont think Kellen Clemens is the answer.

I do hope that Favre stays retired this time....I think the Jets future will be with Mark Sanchez

I'm not sure he's done. Why ask Buzz Cook to ask the Jets for his release? My guess is that he holds on til the Jets have to make a decision on cap issues, then if he's not dropped he'll retire.

Oh man. VW, do you really think so?

Oh bud, I hope not.

I think he'd be worried that his legacy may become all this retiring/un-retiring stuff rather than his great performances on the field. And that would be criminal.

Nah...I gotta believe him this time. But I never say "never" (or at least I rarely do...lol...)

Brett Ratliff baby!

He was a stud in the preseaosn. I say give him the starting QB, and until he fails, he;s not a starter anymore. They should get a vet QB behind him though, just incase...
