Does this mean they are giving up on Pierre Woods?
Also, why sign Brad Listorti? He is a decent small-school TE, and I liked him coming out of UMass, even though he was injured all last year, but he'll be lucky to make the practice squad.

I wouldn't say because they are bringing Banta-Cain back means they are giving up on Woods. I think its more of a lack of depth stand point now with Woods and Banta-Cain you have too solid backup's. I also liked Listorti out of Umass and think he could make the roster especially over Devree.

Well, maybe they are giving up on spindly legged Shawn Crable already then? Let's not forget how much depth we already had at OLB, especially with a UDFA making the roster at that spot, and Redd performing very well too.

Does this mean they don't look at getting a LB in the draft? Before it got reported about them signing Banta-Cain, I read an article from the Boston Globe that said they where high on Clint Sintim who has experience playing in the 3-4 and under Groh who use to be a Billicheck assistant.

No, I think they definitely still need an ILB somewhere, unless they are going to play Adalius Thomas back inside.

Even if they plan to move Thomas inside they still need to draft a ILB to develop. Other than Mayo there aren't any young ILB on there roster worth mentioning.

I know this doesn't really matter, but my stepmom lives 3 houses over from Tully's old house in Sharon, MA....
Anyway, I believe Woods is a RFA right? Maybe insurance for him incase he leaves..
So right now, who do the Pats have at LB? (lemme know if missing any)
