This release is on the topic on last nights trades, as an organization we felt we needed to move quickly through negotiations to help better our team before the draft. Myself and Coach Singletary talked it over and decided that these 2 moves would better our team in a big way. First and foremost we are a team and one of the individuals we traded away did not believe in our team concept so he had to be removed as quickly as possible. By adding Brent Celek we have added a hard working TE that is an excellent receiver and willing blocker. His stats may not prove it but he hasn't been given the opportunity to be a starter in this league; he will get that chance here. We feel we have solidified our OL by adding 2 quality veteran guards to help protect our QB and open holes for our RB. Chris Clemons comes in with a non stop motor and excellent pass rush ability, something our defense lacked at times last season. In closing I would like to take this opportunity to welcome in the newest members of the San Fransico 49er's family: Chris Clemons, Max Jean-Gilles, Brent Celek, & Roberto Garza

Im going to have to veto this.. Macroni Maroney still has good value.. Hochstein is versatile and has starting experience. Bradley is good, but probably equal to Bradley. So 47 and Russ for two late rounders don't even out..

Your true. I wasn't thinking. LOL my statement was pretty dumb looking back in retrospect lol.

I actually thought that the Pats-Eagles deal was close to being fair. Bradley is going to be an elite MLB in the near future. The issue is that he's not an ideal fit for the 3-4 scheme, IMO.

I recommend getting up the draft order sooner rather than later, because it's gonna be a lot of work if you put it off too long.
