Personally it does not hurt to add a veteran to a younger Defensive Tackle core. I understand he had a history of mess ups off the field. But with the flier we took with Cedric Benson, the way Chris Henry has matured over the past season, makes this signing to me alright.

I welcome Tank Johnson with open arms, and hope he can fit better as a 3 technique inside our 4-3 defense, and can fill the void of leader that John Thornton left.
