You're a JOKE!!! How is Andre Smith number one??? How is Kenny Britt the number two WR??? This is awful! Looks like you need to re-do this again...

I'm going to have to agree with Lionsman. Maclin is the #2 receiver and Andre Smith is no longer the top guy. Probably third or fourth.

Sorry... no joking here. The only joke I slipped in was the one about Britton Colquitt.
Tell me, exactly which OT has outplayed Andre Smith over the past few years? Seriously, I think he's the best OT prospect in this draft. I've thought that for quite some time now -- I'm not going to waiver because Jason Smith showed nice athleticism in post-season drills. He's also not the "red-flag" risk that so many seem to think he is. After the combine all of the "experts" dropped him into the latter stages of the first round, but suddenly he's up near the top again. Wonder why? Put on the game tape and watch him carefully and maybe you'll change your mind.
And I'll stand by Kenny Britt as the number 2 WR. What exactly don't you like about him? He's got fantastic size/height, yet he can get in and out of his breaks quickly. He has very good hands (although he suffers from occasional lapses in concentration and will drop some balls). He runs well and can get open. Watch some RU tape and see just how many times Britt is wide open in the secondary. This is an RU team where Britt is the #1 offensive weapon, yet he's wide open! He's tough - he'll willingly go across the middle and take the big hit and he'll block too. Admittedly, he's a bit of a diva, but talking to some of the folks at RU, he really grew up this past fall and became a team leader down the stretch.
OK... now I've justified my rankings--something you failed to do when criticizing them.

I could understand arguments for Maclin as the #2 guy. But why is Smith so low on your list? Because he left the Combine early? Because he had a boob for an agent (who he just parted ways with)? Smith's biggest issue there is a bit of immaturity (he is an early entrant), but nothing egregious enough to drop him to 3rd or 4th in my mind. I stated it before and I'll state it again... go to the game tape from the last three years and then tell me why you think he's fallen.

I agree with you about Kenny Britt being a very good prospect at wide receiver, but with the same thing that you said about Andre Smith, what has Jeremy Maclin done to drop to the third?
The whole Andre Smith thing. You have a right to your opinion, and I have a right to my opinion. And you are making your rankings based on best player and not who will be drafted first. So your probably be right. I was talking about who would get drafted first. So I guess I didn't read fully and we are on two different pages. I just think that Jason Smith or Eugene Monroe are probably better players because they seem to be more mature and even though Andre Smith's mistakes are not huge ones, they do raise some issues if he can handle certain things in the NFL.

Not so much what Maclin has done to drop. I still think he's a top guy and have actually raised him some from my last ranking. I just question whether Maclin can win the battle at the LOS -- he has almost never faced press coverage in college. Is he going to be able to be a #1 guy? His route running is a little suspect and he sometimes suffers from a lack of concentration catching the ball. Finally, he plays very fast, but he's not timing that way... just something to make you say hmm... I still really like Maclin though. I think he's a top tier prospect (along with Crabtree, Britt, and DHB). I wasn't looking to disrespect him by putting him #3.
And yes, my rankings are the guys I like best, not how I think they'll be drafted. I don't doubt for a minute that Jason Smith and Eugene Monroe (who I like a lot) will be drafted before Andre Smith. I just think Andre is a little better football player (especially for a team that wants to run the ball). If the Eagles don't use their first rounders to acquire either Anquan Boldin or Jason Peters, then I wouldn't be at all surprised if they moved up into the top 10 to grab Andre Smith.

I am impressed. You seem to really know your stuff. I love the sleeper pick for your punter. I think Pod can one day have the strongest punting legs in the NFL.

Small hands, overweight, shorter than posted, did bad in passing drills, terrible wonderlic... I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get drafted. only Indy was at Ball State's pro day...

Davis suffers from a learning disability, which very well could seriously hamper him from digesting a complicated offense. He also throws the ball without the laces, and wears gloves all the time. Throw in he played in a spread offense, and didn't do well against out of conference competition, and you have your answer. UDFA is his likely landing spot.
