Peter King is reporting the Patriots are trying to move up into the 8-9-10 area and are offering 23 and 47. No one knows who they are targeting though. Other than the QB's anyone projected in the Top 15 could be a possibilty. They could be after whomevers left from the tackles. The premier pass rushers Orakpo and Maybin. Dline with Raji and Jackson. They could want one of the top WR's in Crabtree or Maclin. Maybe they hope Aaron Curry drops to them. Malcolm Jenkins is also a possiblitily if they have him rated that high. Another thing they could do is trade up and reach for a guy they really like and just want to make sure they get him. Personally I would like to see Curry,Andre Smith, Orakpo, Crabtree, or Jenkins as the person they are targeting. No matter what they do this should be an exciting day for Patriots fans.

Hopefully they will move up they hardly never do but we'll see. They really need to address that lb core on the weekside, With Vrabel Gone.

I saw the article on cnnsi.com too, but the player they want to move up to get is Tyson Jackson.

Here is a link to the article.

Personally I can't see this happening. I have a feeling that Jackson will either go 3rd or 5th to either the Chiefs or Browns and not be available at 8 where the Pats are rumored to be moving up to.

What is with that? Why has his stock sky rocketed? I think he's a lock to Denver at 12 unless NE trades up to like 10 or 11 to get him. I highly doubt he's goes 3 5 or any earlier. Probably cant trade up to 11 to get him though as the Bills want Andre Smith I heard
