-As of 8:00pm EST, the Lions have not signed Matt Stafford to a contract. It is rumored that they have a backup deal in place with Aaron Curry if they can't sign Stafford.
-The Giants are looking to go WR with their 1st round pick. They are trying to trade up to get Darrius Heyward-Bey. They are not interested in trading for Braylon Edwards, but they have shown moderate interest in Aquan Boldin.
-The Seahawks, Browns, Redskins, Jets, and Broncos have shown interest in Mark Sanchez. The Jaguars appear to be the team that would trade their pick in order to allow the Redskins, Jets, or Broncos to move up.
-QB Jason Campbell for the Redskins has stated that he will ask for a trade if the team acquires another QB.
-The Browns appear to be willing to trade Brady Quinn if the can get Mark Sanchez.
-According to 3 legit sources, the Rams favor Eugene Monroe over Jason Smith.
-Al Davis has stated that Trevor Scott as his right defensive end of the future. This should eliminate the possibility of the Raiders drafting a defensive end like Brian Orakpo or Michael Johnson.
-The Buccaneers should not be looking QB with the 18th pick. This just be opinion, but you don't pay a guy (Byron Leftwich) 8 million to sit the bench. Don't expect a Josh Freeman pick when the Bucs come up.
-The Ravens and Eagles have shown serious interest in Aquan Boldin. The Cardnals have lowered their asking price to a 2nd round pick, but both the Ravens and Eagles have low picks in that round, so the Cardnals will probably ask for more.
