Early reports from SI's Peter King

Garenteed money= 41.7 million

Total deal with incentives=78 million

Thats enough, Mr. Comish, put a rookie salary cap in place, this is wrong. With this economic climite i exspected the top deal to be a little lower maybe the same or 1-2 mil higher, but this is 6 million more then Matt Ryans last year. Stafford doesnt deserve this money, nobody in this years draft does.

If i had the top pick, i would pay the same amount as last years 1st. No raise, and if a prospect refuses, then i move on to the next. The Lions should of taken Aaron Curry.

WAYYYYY too much money, but if he turns out to be good, I guess he'll be worth it.
