Wow, Johnson really slipped. I am personally really hoping that STL grabs him in the 3rd round. I know there are questions about his motor and ability to defend against the run but a 6'7 266 pound DE with 4.5 speed doesn't come around often and a 3rd round pick is easily worth the risk. But I doubt the Rams will pull the trigger or DET will grab him first. sad.gif

Rams shouldnt take the risk, i know your dying for a pass rusher but DJ Moore would be ideal. Besides Bartell, our CB core is lacking. Im sure thier will be a "pass rushing" specialist later. Michael Johnson is just a waist pick.

Definitely a top 10 talent athletically...but way too many issues to be able to project him to transition successfully to the NFL as a star. Personally, I'd take Sidbury from Richmond in a flash before Johnson. I really like his upside, and he doesn't have all that baggage. Get him into the weight room and you could have a monster pass rusher.

Dorrell Scott made me happy as he is a player with first round measurables at DT but slipped to the 4th due to motor and consistency. Good pick. However, Bradley Fletcher over Moore? I don't get that pick at all.
