What do you guys think of the Bears draft?

Jarron Gilbert seems like a good pick. Great value and I think they will work him at defensive end and move him in some on passing situations. Kinda like Israel, but better.

Juaquin Iglesias is another solid pick. He should be a quality #3 receiver similar to Earl Bennett skill wise.

Henry Melton. Didn't really like this pick, but its more depth on the defensive line.

DJ Moore. I really like this pick for being a fourth round pick. He forces turnovers and is a very good athlete. Should be an immediate contributor on special teams.

Johnny Knox. I really like this pick. Good speed and could develop into a quality deep threat for Cutler.

Marcus Freeman. Another late pick that should help linebacker depth. Very good backup to Briggs and another special teams player.

Al Afalava. Jerry Angelo seems to find quality secondary players late in the draft and I hope he is another one.

Lance Louis. A former tightend, who they moved to the offensive line at San Diego State. they project him to move to guard. Not a bad move with Garza getting older and Beekman probably moving to center when Kruetz plans to retire.

Derek Kinder. Another wide receiver in the mode of Bennett. Good route runner and hands.

Overal I think it is a quality draft, with the picks they had. I would have wished that they didn't trade out of the second round, but they did get a quality pick in Gilbert and then Melton with that move. So I guess we'll have to wait and see how they develop and help the team.

you summed it up better than I could. I am very happy with the draft. (that being said, I am always happy with our draft that weekend, except the year we took Bazuin and took Wolfe way too early)
