Who are some players we should keep an eye on that aren't getting much recognition, but seem poised for a breakout season? They can be FBS, FCS, DII, DIII or even NAIA, just try to provide some reasoning for each pick.

Here are some of mine:

Selvish Capers, OT/West Virginia: Former TE is 6'5" 295, and can run below 5.0; is being talked about as a 4th-5th rounder but I think he can move up into the 2nd round area with a strong senior season.

Youri Yenga, OLB/SMU: From the Congo, will be a junior next year, very athletic guy that keeps improving with every rep he gets. Not the biggest LB/DE (6'2" 230) but makes up for it with speed (4.6 est) and energy. Natural pass rushing ability would suit him well in a 3-4 type setting.

Malcolm Williams, WR/Texas: At 6'3" 225, running in the 4.5's, he'll prove to be the best skill position NFL prospect the Longhorns have. Has a knack for the spectacular play, and really steps up in the big games . All 3 of his TD's last season (he had 17 catches, 17.9 yards per) came against Texas Tech and Missouri, including a 91 yarder against the Red Raiders. He'll be a 3rd-year sophomore next season.

Allen Bailey, DT/Miami: He's a freak athletically, former top recruit who has struggled with injuries. Played MLB at 6'4" 270 earlier in his career, is up to 290 and reportedly still runs in the 4.7s-4.8s.

Ugo Chinasa, DE/Oklahoma St: 6'6" 250, has the frame to add more weight and is a natural athlete. A playmaker that should keep improving with experience.

I'd remember the name Menelik Holt from Nebraska. The 6'4 220 lb senior enjoyed a strong season last year until he got knicked up. Watch out for a break out season and a strong showing for this future possession receiver.

3 CBs: FAMU's Curtis Holcomb, Marist's Kwame Carlor is good but Jermaine Clemons a Ft. Scott JC stud has landed at AUPB and he's 5'11" 190, runs around 4.42-4.47 and has really fluid hips. WRs: Juamorris Stewart, Jeremy Franklin and JR WR Riccardon Lockette are all poised for big years.

Keep an eye on Cecil Shorts (6'0, 180) of D-III power Mount Union. Shorts came to MU as a QB from Cleveland Collinwood HS, but caught a few passes in '07 and moved to WR full-time in '08.

And what a season - 77 catches for 1484 yards and 23 TDs in 15 games (with 7 catches for 178 yards and 2 TDs in the national championship game).

With another season like '08, I look for him to be the next Pierre Garcon.

Bucknell has an inside linebacker GREG JONES #44 he is under the radar for sure......walks at 245 plays at 229, lots of reps....heavy I will add.... good specs, very cerebral player, flies to the ball, covers well, leading tackler. Came to Bucknell as a QB.......I like this kid!

Great stuff! Another CB, Rod Williams from Alcorn St. 5'10" 181, quick with great hips hands and feet, 2007 stats include two interceptions, six pass breakups and 24 total tackles. A change in the defense cause him to have a down 2008 season but he is now more used to off-man and has been working with Darrell Green: Article About His Working with Darrell Green He has run a a wind-aided 4.36 on grass and is likely a legit mid to low 4.4.
