They're both OK, although it appears Hardy re-aggravated his foot injury.

Hardy needs to be really careful ahead of what is in my mind a make-or-break year for him. Everyone knows he has raw talent but he hasn't been able to show it at Ole Miss under Houston Nutt for one reason or another. If his foot injury stops him from playing, I hate to say it but he could find himself falling down draft boards.

I'm starting to wonder if he's another Michael Johnson (Ga Tech last year): a guy who has all the physical ability in the world, but is constantly overrated by "experts" in the biz. I wasn't very high on Johnson (if you can't do it consistently on the field at the college level, then I'm skeptical about your ability to do it at the next level). I'm not as high on Hardy as many others are. Should be an interesting one to watch during the season.

Thing is Jeff, when he's on the field he produces. It's the injuries that worry me most about him. If he can stay fully fit and get into the starting lineup (which isn't exactly a given when you look at the quality Ole Miss have) he'll be very, very good.

He produces some of the time he's on the field... other times, he's invisible. I'd be happier with a more consistent effort from him. He seems to turn it on and off at his whim.

Didn't Mario Williams struggle at NC State??

It's the exception that proves the rule.

Answer this though Jeff, would you rather have him on your team or against you? I know which I would choose.
