Dixon was arrested for DUI over the weekend. A couple empty bottles of champagne were found on the floor of his car during the stop.

Dixon was a mid-round prospect coming into this season, although an excellent senior season could have catapulted him into the 2nd or 3rd round. This doesn't help his outlook though. I realize that these players are still "kids" to some extent, but c'mon already.

Some empty bottles of champagne? Maybe this shows that he is not that smart. Can't get rid of them somewhere?

I can forgive a player who gets busted for underage drinking... not a big deal in my mind. They cross the line, with me at least, when they hop in a car after a night of partying.

I saw elsewhere that he was also charged with failure to provide proof of insurance to go along with the DUI - his court date is August 17.

Tough blow for Mississippi State.
