I've only got 2 words to describe that - unbelievable!

Picked the Raiders pocket for sure. Could be positioning themselves to draft the replacement for Brady. Could take over in 2013?? Just a thought.

Gotta love this move. Richard is not worth a second anymore, let alone a fist.

Blaine Gabbert will be a patriot. They see him as the new Drew Bledsoe, but with wheels.

I concur here, Steve. Seymour will be an improvement over what the Raiders have now, but he's at the point where his career will soon start declining, and he is not near enough to take them into the upper third of the league, much less the AFC West. This trade likely results in a top 10, if not a top 5 pick for the Pats, and in whatever the new CBA is too, which will probably include a more realistic rookie salary structure. Just another example of a senile Al Davis move. The only reason the NFL hasn't stepped in and taken over the Raiders is Davis has so many chips out there and he's probably calling them all in right now to hang on. Really a sad state of affairs for Oakland fans, but a nice move again by the Pats.

Poor Al. He used to be one of the sharpest owners/GMs in the business. It's awfully hard to tell an owner that his skills have diminished to the point where he just needs to get out of the way. Penn State found the right solution for their similar issue...the Raiders must....
