Junior WR Cecil Shorts caught 7 passes for 118 yards and 3 TDs (8, 43, and 33 yards) as Mt Union topped Muskingum 51-13 in Ohio Athletic Conference (D-III) action this Saturday.

Some have compared the 6-2, 195 WR to another Purple Raider, Pierre Garcon, who now plays for the Indianapolis Colts.

The converted QB led the OAC in receiving last year with 77 catches for 1,474 yards and an OAC record 23 TDs.

Not that Mt. Union has ever suffered from a lack of attention, but Garcon's coming out party on Sunday night will certainly set a few more eyes on the Purple Raiders.
