OSU has announced in a statement today that Dez Bryant has been ruled ineligible due to his failure to disclose all the details of a meeting with Deion Sanders that occured last summer.

Specifically Bryant lied when when asked if he had ever been in Sanders' home, when in fact he had. He has issued an apology.

Sanders has been Bryant's mentor for the last couple years and he has talked with the OSU coaches about his role with Bryant - this seems to be "a whole lot of nothing' goin' on."

OSU is applying for reinstatement as they open Big 12 play this weekend at TAMU.

WOW - what does this do to his prospects if he is unable to play the remainder of the season?

I sure hope this is resolved quickly ...

OSU is appealing the decision.

Certainly more details are needed ...

On top of that, why would deion do that and potentially hurt this kids chances? If indeed the meeting took place and if i did break any ncaa or team rules.

Why is Deion getting everyone in hot water recently? Crabtree and Bryant???

Meeting didn't break the rules, Dez lying about it did.
