UFL kicks-off play tonight in Las Vegas, as the Locomotives host the California Redwoods at 9 PM EST.
On Saturday the 10th, the New York Sentinels face the Florida Tuskers at the Citrus Bowl at 7 PM EST.
Yeah - more football!
We'll see how good it is ...

Las Vegas Locos defeat the Calfornia Redwoods, 30-17.
JP Losman threw 2 TDs (21-31 for 226 yards) and DeDe Dorsey scored 2 rushing TDs in the win.
I looked for some stats on the game, but hardly any news outlets seemed to have noticed this game was played ... (I kept switching back and forth between this and the Nebraska/Missou game).
Overall, I thought the game was pretty good - there were some miscues (as a D-2 GLIAC fan I was rooting for former Grand Valley star WR David Kircus but he looked like he couldn't catch swine flu in a pig sty!) but lots of scoring and some great hits - LB Ezekiel of the Redwoods lit up a couple Loco receivers on routes across the middle. Shane Boyd (Redwoods QB) and Cory Ross (Loco RB) also showed talent and athleticism.
Fun game - I wish I lived closer than 600 miles from the nearest team (for me, NY) so I could see a game in person.

That's great! We can never get too much football.
I had heard somewhere that Arena league will be back soon. They have went belly up before haven't they?
