The Warriors of ESSU came into this one with high hopes after having already knocked off ranked opponents, Ashland and California (PA), but #5 Bloomsburg's offensive array turned out to be too much for LB Matt Freed to corral in the second half, and Bloomsburg gradually pulled away after leading only 10-6 at intermission.

Game Notes
Jesse Cooper 1 5' 7.0" 161 4.50 CB 2010: One of the finest coverage corners in all of DII football. He is also a fairly exciting kick/punt returner. If he were only 2-3" taller, we might have a real PP here. As it is, he is a big-play guy at this level who makes something big happen in almost every game. Natural coverage ability. Lets receivers eat his cushion because he wants them close, and does a good job keeping them that way. Had 2 tackles, 2 PDs and a FR in this one that he returned for big yardage. GRADE: Positive
Stefan Adams 12 5' 10.0" 230 4.60 FB 2010: Just coming back off an ankle and shows that he is a solid lead blocker who can run in short yardage. 4.60 appears generous, esp. post-injury, however. Don't think he has enough speed to be in a camp, but who knows...? GRADE: Neutral
Dan LaTorre 10 6' 0.0" 207 4.80 QB 2010: Up and down game for LaTorre. He is such a steady and heady QB that I would bring him in for a look, even if he was the 5th-6th QB in camp. Throws OK rolling to either direction. Rarely makes mistakes but threw 2 picks in this one, and took some uncharacteristic sacsk that he usually throws the ball away out of. Not a physical specimen. Has a swagger. Nice overhead delivery. Usually feels pressure, and gets rid of it, but didn't today. Lacks measurables, but definitely has it from the head up. GRADE: Neutral
Justin Presley 40 6' 2.2" 243 4.85 DE 2010: Above average DII pass rusher. Keeps going. Rushes with authority. Can play ST coverage. Gets blown off the ball in the running game at times even by DII linemen. Must convert to OLB? Can he? Not sure...not sure he can even make a camp roster. GRADE: Neutral

Game Notes
Matt Freed 39 5' 10.0" 205 4.85 LB 2011: A stud OLB who plays close to the LOS and is an elite blitzing LB. Makes tackles all over the field and may be faster than 4.85. Best defensive player on the roster, but he is too small to be a LB candidate, and probably too slow to be a SS candidate. Has another year of eligibility for people to figure out what to try him at. GRADE: Positive
Morgan Thomas 74 6' 3.0" 300 5.00 OG 2010: Plays LOT, but is a natural ROG and locks on pretty well in the run game. Doesn't have size or feet to be an OT candidate. Need to see where he grades out in the weight room. If he is strong enough for NFL consideration he may already have the motor and technique for it. GRADE: Slightly positive
OTHER NOTES:
East Stroudsburg: WR Sam Shuman (a Sr., #8) is a big, physical wideout who is good for a big play or two every game, but appears to lack wheels. Jr. QB Matt Marshall shows some moxie and can chuck it around. Dangerous runner to boot.
BSU: Derrick Price (#4) and Kenny Domsalski (Sp? #19) may be the best 1-2 punch at WR in DII.
