I know that a majority of people on here are not going to care about this, but this is my official 500th post on this website.

Its been a long trip since I stumbled onto this site back around 2006-2007.

I always liked the NFL draft, but never followed it that close. I only usually cared who from Nebraska went and who the Bears got. I use to think that a second or third round pick was not worth that much. Boy was I wrong.

I really started to follow the draft leading up into the 2007 draft. Back then I would search google for 2007 NFL Mock Drafts and came across a site called condraft. I use to check it to see who the Bears might be taking. Through this site and a couple of others I've began to really get into the draft and over the next couple of years I like to think I've become a draftnik or whatever you call it. Now days I enjoy seeing the entire process unfold from college to the draft and then into the NFL.

I've really enjoyed the mock draft aspect of this website and having a good tool to post mock drafts and have others comment on them. I do however remember when I first started on the mock drafts there was somebody who posted under the name madam something hogg or something along those lines. Whatever they called themselves they use to create a mock draft ranking people who made mock drafts. I always wanted to be on the list, but being a new guy I hadn't established myself yet. Then whether he was kicked off or just left we never saw it again.

I later realized there was more to the site and began embarking my journey through the message boards. I even participated in the Draft Stock and Expansion Drafts. Both where a lot of fun. I'm anxious to join an IMD and go through all that.

With all that said its been a great time so far on the website and I'm anxious to see what its going to be like in another couple of years down the round.
