Name # Ht Wt Speed Pos Class Game Notes

Kevin Riley 13 6' 1.0" 224 4.80 QB 2011
27/44 351 2 TDs. Early on had fumbleitis, fumbled on a run and got stripped. Makes questionable decisions at times. Needs to feel pressure better. However, he looked good in the final drive and throws a nice fade. Has a good arm and can make many throws. Accuracy isn't there at times. Looked better than a few weeks ago. Grade: Neutral

Nyan Boateng 8 6' 1.0" 210 4.50 WR 2010
1/12 receiving. Has lost his starting job to Marvin Jones. Looking as if he won't make it to an NFL camp. Grade: Incomplete

Jahvid Best 4 5' 9.0" 195 4.35 HB 2011
18/63 rushing, 7/61 1 TD receiving. Showed off his receiving skills in this game. Catches it smooth and gets to full speed in no time. Teams are loading up to stop him in the run game. Didn't look as explosive as he has in the past. The main knock on him is injury concerns. Deadly in space. Grade: Slightly Positive

SydQuan Thompson 5 5' 9.5" 191 4.50 CB 2010
3 solos, 1 INT, 1 PBU. Wasn't really tested and made an interception when they did. 38 yard return on the interception. Has good change of direction. Will close quickly on quick passes and get in and support the run. Grade: Positive

Tyson Alualu 44 6' 2.0" 295 5.00 DE 2010
Played but didn't do anything. A statistical shut out. Grade: Negative

Cameron Jordan 97 6' 3.0" 287 4.90 DT 2011
1 solo, 2 assists Played but did very little. A 3-4 end. Should be doing a little more and wasn't a factor like I've seen in the past. Grade: Slightly Negative

Mike Mohamed 18 6' 2.0" 237 4.75 LB 2011
11 solos, 1 assist. Made a boat load of tackles 3-5 yards past the line of scrimmage, but no splash plays. Grade: Slighlty Positive

Bryan Anger 6' 2.0" 200 5.00 P 2011
5/265, 53 yard avg., long of 58 and 3 downed inside the 20. Looked much better as a punting prospect. No Shanks. Grade: Positive

Dexter Davis 58 6' 1.0" 252 4.70 DE 2010
2 solos. A speed rush prospect coming into the season. Many thought he would be drafted, but at this rate he is playing himself into an UDFA if even that. Did virtually nothing.Grade: Negative

Thomas Altieri 56 6' 1.0" 300 5.15 C 2010
DNP knee

Chris McGaha 13 6' 0.0" 195 4.55 WR 2010
4/76 receiving. Solid receiver, but had trouble shaking Thompson. Good possession style receiver who if he tests well should get drafted. Made plays on slants, crossing, and out patterns. Grade: Slightly positive

Shawn Lauvao 67 6' 2.0" 305 5.20 OT 2010
Plays OT but is more of a G prospect. Moves his man when blocking down. Held Cameron Jordan in check. Solid prospect who has good feet, movement, and blocking skills. Should give up the cut block. He's ineffective when he does it. Grade: Positive

Mike Nixon 25 6' 2.0" 224 4.75 LB 2010
5 solos, 2 assists, 2 TFL, 1 FF, 2 PBUs. Was very active and making splash plays seemingly all game long. Helped keep the ASU defense off the field. Did a little of everything. Made a nice tackle on Best in space. A former Dodger farmhand in baseball. Overaged. Impressive game and the only downside was he dropped a potential pick 6. Grade: Positive

Omar Bolden 3 5' 9.5" 195 4.40 CB 2011
DNP

Game Notes: ASU has a FR MLB Vontaze Burfict who looks to be a player in the making. SO WR CAL Marvin Jones is a fast WR who looks to be factor in the future.

Does Thompson deserve the ranking we've given him in the Top 100, Brett? I always wonder about short corners panning out with the influx of all these NBA power forwards playing WR.

Do you think Best should come out? Is he going to be the next Reggie Bush or the next Mercury Morris?

Do you think Nixon might be draftable?

Short corners are always an issue, but how many 6ft. corners are there? Very few.

I see Best as Willie Parker at worst. He can catch it out of the backfield though.

I doubt Nixon gets drafted. If so it'll be late.

Where do you see Best going in the draft. Will he be a top 15 guy or will he be a late first early second?
