Not a bad comparison, however Harvin has a slight edge in Tate in strength and 1st step acceleration, though they have very comparable top ends, ironically think Harvin would have benefited from being used more as a 'real' wr in a pro style system. I like both but Harvin has a tad more upside while Tate's the more polished, on and off the field, IMHO.

I like the guy and the comparison to Harvin - he runs hard and gets low with his shoulders square (like a running back - which he was in high school) but also fast (4.4 with 17+ yards per catch for his career) and with great pass-catching ability. If ND wouldn't have been so inconsistent, I bet he would be much higher on many lists (good for him if ND can make a bowl) - I wonder if he will choose to enter the 2010 draft ... may depend on what happens to Weis ... he has had some impressive games (9 for 244 and a TD vs Washington and 7 for 127 and a TD vs Michigan State) this season.
