Big football fan here. My favorite college team is the Virginia Tech Hokies, and my favorite NFL team is the Chicago Bears. Anyway, as I said before I am a big football fan, I just love the sport in general. I played 3 years in HS at DE with decent results, and would love to play college football, but I am a bit underweight and out of shape (Start lifting again on Monday, though) and would need a good deal of work to walk onto Temple (my top choice for college). But, I don't plan on giving up, and I hope I can improve like my Bears will in the very near future. I also really like defensive players and O-Line, since I had my best moments on defense and played OL. Winning always starts upfront and with the defense.

Welcome. It will be nice to add yet another Bears fan.

Welcome to the site. I'm the ACC scout here, so I've got your Hokies covered. I also live just outside Philly, so I'm a big fan of what Al Golden has done with the Owls.

Right back at you man! I can't wait for this disapointing season to end ad for the Bears to regroup and improve. Cutler's not the problem, the OL and D are screwing us over.

Hey man! Glad to see we've got the whole ACC - Temple connection going between you and me. If only I could get you to be a bears fan wink.gif

And you being a scout is really cool man. Do you like watch all of the SEC games and write about pro prospects? Cause I can really respect that. I personally would love to do that too, maybe once I get settled here.

Do you have Espn gameplan? If not how do you watch all of those games?

Yeah I agree. I'm not too happy with Angelo either. Trading away the second round pick for Gaines Adams who hasn't done anything is such a dumb move. The way things are panning out that would be a high second and they could have gotten a very good reciver or offensive tackle. I don't know about you, but Dezmon Briscoe from Kansas would look pretty freaking sweet in a Bears uniform. But thats just my opinion.

And being a Tech fan I bet you enjoyed the game against my Huskers earlier in the year.

Not gonna happen. I've been an Eagles fan all my life and, no matter how tired I am of Reid and McNabb, I'll keep bleeding Eagles green.

It's not possible to watch ALL of the games, but I try to make sure I see each of my assigned teams (ACC and Ivy) about three times throughout the season to get a decent read on the players. Some teams I'll see more and some I'll see less. I get plenty of Ivy and ACC games on local TV, plus ESPN360 has tons of games as well. I'm able to get everything I need without a subscription to Gameplan at this point.

Welcome, King50. I see we have another tortured Bears fan with us. I think your main problems aren't on the field, but in your front office...which translates to problems down to the field. Later.

Wats up man! I can see what your saying about the front office, and I can basically agree with it. I still like the Cutler trade, even though it looks like we got jipped and the draft won't be as useful this year sans the picks we traded. The signing of an overrated and old Pace to a three year deal. But, w/e. Angelo will stay. Lovie and Turner will be shown the door. Hopefully, Leslie Frazier will become the next Bears coach.
