a lot of talent on here but there is no way Robert Griffin who is just a slightly more advanced Vince Young goes ahead of Matt Barkley who is a prototype NFL QB. and there is no chance Janoris Jenkins goes in the 1st round he has way to many character concerns, no way a team takes him in the 1st round anymore, he should have come out last year. Lastly I don't see Broyles in the 1st round either he is a lot like Mike Wallace but he is not physically dominant enough to go in the 1st round in my opinion more like mid 2nd early 3rd.

Jeffery's reminds me a lot of Larry Fitzgerald wonder if his lack of speed will hurt his stock.

I think your mistaken about Griffin. A lot of people think that Griffin is a pure runner, but he is very good thrower. Just look at his completion percentage. I know for most of the season he only had like 10 incompletions and he threw the ball deep a lot. Good accuracy downfield is very important. He is far more advanced than Jake Locker and he went #8.

Jenkins is a character concern, but does that matter for the Bengals? Probably, they usually wait till the second round to get those guys, but he has a ton of talent and if anybody is going to pull the trigger on him its them.

I don't know why people don't like Broyles? He is a good route runner, good hands, good speed, good (not great) size, quick. Reminds me a lot of Santonio Holmes.

I don't think that Griffin is a pure runner i just don't think he is a great passer, while his stats look fantastic, you have to keep it in prospective, he is playing out of the spread, he makes next to no difficult throws and never shows the ability to make NFL throws. So far every time he has played a great team he has failed to establish any kind of tempo, or offense for that matter until its to late and the Defense are in a prevent, go look at the Oklahoma State game. If being a pro was just about gaudy numbers, accuracy within the teams offense they ran in college, than Case Keenum would be a top 10 pick this year and Colt Brennan would be a star in the NFL right now and not out of the league. Griffin i see as a developmental guy taking him in the 1st round would be a massive mistake, much like when the Titans took Young or the Broncos took Tebow, Griffin will need time to develop for two or three years so he is better suited and more likely going to end up in the mid 2nd-3rd round range where you can groom him without the pressure that comes with being a 1st round pick. As for more advanced than Locker that is absurd, i was one of the few Locker supporters if not the only Locker supporter on here, so i may be a bit biest but, Locker lacked some accuracy and needed to work on his footwork, which was a big part of his accuracy issues but he played out of a pro offense, and with better footwork, to help his accuracy locker looked like a top 10 pick due to his excellent intangibles, competitiveness, was a hard worker and truly wants to get better and be great, and while we have only really seen him in preseason thus far, when he was playing he looked the part, and showed far improved accuracy already and will only get better with time.

I am not a Broyles fan he has never showed me greatness, he looks like a good solid WR who can play the slot, but he does not make guys miss after the catch, he is a pure speed/quickness WR who gives you very little after the catch, unless he is behind the entire defense where he can use his speed. I think he will be a good NFL WR, but not a 1st round WR, he reminds me a lot of Lee Evans, good but not great.

Baylor runs a spread, but it isn't your typical spread that throws only short passes. Griffin throws the ball deep a lot. Before this season I would have never thought Griffin was an NFL QB prospect, let alone a 1st round pick, but his play this year has changed my opinion. He throws a very accurate deep ball with good arm strength. Remember that Sam Bradford and Landry Jones also played in a spread at Oklahoma. Bradford was a 1st overall pick and Jones will be a 1st round pick.

I agree that it can happen but Bradford is an overrated QB who is merely a very good starter not a star, Landry kind of falls into that same category for me both are worth 1st round picks but none of them will be Rivers/Rodgers/Manning/Brady/Brees good I just don't see it. There have been far more busts and over drafted QB's who have come out of spread offense's then there are successes. I have seen griffin through a pretty deep ball, and he has really taken advantage of Kendall Wrights speed and ability to get down the field in a flash, but even with that I don't see a ton of NFL throws, those are the same throws that Young made in Texas, he threw a pretty deep ball but struggled in the underneath stuff when he was put under center, as he could not read the defense's and struggled to see the play, which is currently what Tebow's problem is as well, pretty deep ball but nothing underneath and that is what I worry about with Griffin, despite his ability in the spread when we put him under center in the NFL which he almost certainly will have to play most of the time will he be a liability on all plays under 25 yards like Vick and his eagles? This is just my opinion though I prefer a more traditional QB, the only QB i really like out of a Spread that I think can make the transition is Geno Smith from West Virginia but even he projects as more of a Backup (Kordell Stewart type) QB who will need a year or two to develop. The Learning curve to playing under center in a faster paced game is just to great for 85-90% of the spread QB's that come into the pros so I'm skeptical.

Really Rivers? Everybody in that situation, and you include Rivers.

I think the jury is still out on Sam Bradford. His season as a rookie was pretty good. This year I give him an incomplete because of the injuries.

Phillip Rivers is an elite QB he is having a down year no doubt but one bad year cant take away from all the great years he has already had, a good deal of his problems have been injuries to his wide outs but, no excuses he is having a bad year but he will bounce back next year. I am just not sold on Bradford he surprised people but now teams are taking away the short quick throw from him and making him attack them deep and he has not shown the ability to do that, and he struggles with pressure. I do think he will be better but he is just not elite like people were trying to make him out to be last year, at least not to me.

All of the guys that you have listed have won Super Bowls. Rivers hasn't. All he has done is chock in the playoffs. You can't put him in the same category as those guys.

Lots of QB's were elite that have never one a super bowl like Dan Marino and Warren Woon, both of which are hall of famer's. You cant blame the losses in the playoffs on just rivers, the Chargers as a whole completely collapse in the conference championship game, and have been doing it since before Rivers was the QB, you have to put most of that blame on there vastly overrated coach Norv Turner.

besides Rivers is not even 30 yet he could still have a SB in his future look how long it took for Manning to get his.
