Brett Walker interviews Luke Drone

Interviewed on: Saturday, June 9th, 2007
Height: 6' 2.0"
Weight: 210 lbs
Speed: 4.85 (Unofficial)
Bench Reps: (Player Reported)

Brett Walker: What do you do as the leader of the offense?
Luke Drone: I lead by example. I make sure the players are doing what they need to do. I'm here to win and not mess around. I make sure the whole offense goes together.
BW: What's your plan if football doesn't work out?
LD: I've got my degree in P.E. So I'll probably teach and coach high school. I'd also like to coach at the college level.
BW: What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
LD: My strengths are awareness on the field, arm strength, and accuracy. I'm also consistent. As far as a weakness, I guess just trying to make every play when it's not there. Try not to force the ball.
BW: What's the team outlook for the coming year?
LD: Good! Our line returns and we've got good receivers. We have some young guys on D that are going to step up, and I think they will. Our goal is to win the Gateway and the DIAA Championship.
BW: Hobbies?
LD: Golf, guitar, and going tubing or water skiing on the river.
BW: What's your favorite play to call?
LD: We go three receivers with a RB and FB. The receivers run a double post and an out on the backside. The RB and FB both run angle routes.
