Hopefully, he lasts this long? Great size and speed. He could be a great outside pass rusher. A person to help clog up the middle of our defense. |

I have read alot out of the blogosphere that he translates more as a RT, not a LT. I'm not opposed to drafting a RT, I just think that a high round 2 pick should be a LT or another need area. Here is another late round NT for you, Cam Thomas DT UNC. 6'3" 330 and very athletic with good feet. Any team can draft a 325lb+ fattie to take up space. Getting a guy that is huge and an athlete is the key. Hampton, Wilfork, Williams, Rogers all are athletic and have good feet. Google Cam Thomas and read what other scouts say about him. Posted by chiefsfan27 on 1/15/10 - 5:55PM Kingcarl, i've read the opposite, that fox actually translates to a left tackle, but his upside is much less than the other tackles in this draft. He has the ideal size of a left tackle, but I agree I don't think he's worth the high second rounder, but we could do worse Posted by Chiefs Dominate on 1/15/10 - 6:36PM Ok, I can see those points. I changed it up a bit. Hopefully, Bulaga will make it to our 2nd rd pick......but, I 'm afraid he won't. Who knows, strange things always happen at the draft! Posted by Sneef186 on 1/16/10 - 10:57AM Yea I agree with Chiefsfan on Fox. Most scouting reports say he is a left tackle at the second level. His upsides obviously are size, foot work, and very good in ass protection. He is more athletic than most think, since he has actually ran a touchdown from 5 yards out for Miami; who knew lol. His frame shows that he could defiantly put on more upper body muscle, and he is inconsistent in run blocking. So for me personally his off-season would have a ton to do with weather he could start next August, but I would imagine a team that takes him will get a great guy in the long run, but it make take a year of training :(...I still think Bulaga will be gone after round one though and Fox could still be a good pick. Berry over Okung and Davis I think is a must though if he is available, since he is so dominating. Posted by Sneef186 on 1/16/10 - 10:58AM Pass protection **** LOL! very, very optimistic on Bulaga in the 2nd round. He'll have to totally screw up in workouts to fall that far. |
