First Team All-SEC honoree by the SEC coaches and Associated Press and Second Team pick by Rivals.com in 2007. Topped the SEC and tied for sixth nationally in sacks. Ranked second in the SEC and fourth in the nation in TFLs.

Strengths

When he's on, boy does he cause problems. Hardy has an innate ability to make plays and seems to be at his best against the big teams. The sort of enigma who, if you can solve him, could be one of the best DEs in the NFL.

Weaknesses

Possibly plays down to the level of the opposition. Seems to lack something mentally which keeps his from being a human wrecking ball week after week. Needs work to solve whatever it is that stops him from fulfilling his potential each week.

Projection

Teams don't like guys with questions and that could force Hardy all the way down into the second round.
