OverviewTop recruit coming out of Saginaw, MI, has lived up to billing. A top flight pass rusher who can play end or linebacker, will intrigue teams with his versatility.
StrengthsExcellent pass rusher. Above average at getting into the backfield. Shows the range to play linebacker or defensive end. Tough against the run. Plays with attitude.
WeaknessesWhat is his true position? Not fast to show well as a linebacker, might not be good enough to play against elite tackles as an end. Not a top shelf athlete.
ProjectionInteresting mix of size, speed, and power, has a lot of characteristics to enjoy at the next level. Does not show the promise of the hybrid defender we once thought, and will most likely only play 4-3 end in the NFL. Poor workouts and showing at the Senior Bowl have dropped him into late day 1.

User: replay Date/Time: 02/2/2007 - 9:17PM CST Predicted Round: Round 3 A great talent. But right now is a tweener. I think he drops to round 3 because of the depth of the DE class... Has a non stop Motor and never gives up on a play, is a lot like a young Michael Strahan coming out of Texas Southern but more NFL Ready. User: jbm2005 Date/Time: 12/9/2006 - 10:54AM CST Predicted Round: Round 1 Motor is always running, should be around the late 1st rd., too big and not fast enough to play linebacker in NFL, comes up big in huge games, overall i compare him to James Hall of Detroit-Solid in run & Pass wont be great in either one. *Guaranteed 1st round after he sooped up a fumble & took it 50 yards to the house in South Band '06 User: ironman4579 Date/Time: 12/8/2006 - 1:57PM CST Predicted Round: Round 2 No Comments Submitted User: r0bert8841 Date/Time: 12/4/2006 - 8:57AM CST Predicted Round: Round 1 AMAZING User: Tarheels08 Date/Time: 12/3/2006 - 3:33PM CST Predicted Round: Round 1 No Comments Submitted Rate This Player |
