OverviewFirst year starter for the Seminoles (replaces Ernie Sims). Expected to have a good year. Instaed, had a great one. Finished second on the team in takles (Buster Davis). No longer living in anyone's shadow.
StrengthsIs as natural an athlete as they come. Speed. Hard hitter. Runs to the ball well. Aggressive. Size.
WeaknessesJust a 1-year starter. Green. Needs to improve technique. Can add a few more pounds. Gambles at times with his tackles. Needs to wrap up more.
ProjectionLate Round 1 but no later than Round 2.

Date/Time: 03/17/2007 - 9:47AM CDT Predicted Round: Round 2 Timmons can be an impact player in the pros. He has good size and speed, and he plays with aggression. I like how he made the most of his opportunity to start at FSU, and that makes me believe he will do the same in the pros. User: COLTSFAN21 Date/Time: 03/3/2007 - 5:30PM CST Predicted Round: Round 1 I don't know if I am saying this but it seems his stock is droping (probably because he is two inches shorter than expected. But, how tall do you need to be when you are that athletic. User: revxholyflame Date/Time: 02/23/2007 - 11:11AM CST Predicted Round: Round 1 With Drew Rosenhaus as your agent what could go wrong. Oh wait . . . let's pass on him then User: diehardram87 Date/Time: 02/9/2007 - 1:03PM CST Predicted Round: Round 1 No Comments Submitted User: gsus8091 Date/Time: 01/31/2007 - 5:26PM CST Predicted Round: Round 1 Extremely raw athlete. With that said his potential and upside are huge. Could be in theory the best LB in the draft. Sort of like CB Antonio Cromarte last year. A ton of potential, but its totally up to him whether he wants to achieve it or not. Has outstanding speed, great strength, and unbelievable athleic ability. Has the potential to be a lot like Derrick Brooks, a LB who can play the run, pass, and blitz. Truely a special talent. Could be better than Ernie Sims. But also could be a bust who really never lives up to his potential. Remember his future is in his hands. Rate This Player |
