Matt moved to left tackle in 2006 after starting at left guard in 2005. Served as the versatile back-up for the entire offensive line as a redshirt freshman in 2004.

Strengths

Solid IAA center who has been a real leader for his team. Solid in all phases of the game, but spectacular in none. Good enough to be a camp body, but may not have them time needed to develop further.

Weaknesses

Not very big, and no sure growth potential or upside. Limited athlete who has made himself what he is.
