2009: Appeared in 11 games with 11 starts. One of just 11 players in NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision to be named to the 2009 Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team. Named to watch lists for Lott Trophy, Outland Trophy, Bronko Nagurski Trophy. Senior Bowl invitee. Measurements - arm: 32.0" hand: 9.13" Notes: A little pudgy and needs to tone up.

Strengths

Versatile player who played some defensive end as well as tackle. Is the sort of player who might actually be best off in a 3-4 defense. Good at doing his job.

Weaknesses

After injury decimated his 2008 season came back in 2009 and was outplayed by teammate Kade Weston. Needs to prove that the knee is fully recovered. Not a penetrative type but nor is he big enough just to be a space eater.
