Overview

Promising young back that ran with power and speed prior to tearing his right ACL & MCL during the Spring of 2006. Came back for his SR year in 2008 and lost his job to Gartrell Johnson.

Had a nice day of redemption for himself at the CSU Pro Day, running 4.55 and 4.54 in the 40-yard dash with a 34" vertical, a 9'7" broad jump, a 4.26 short shuttle and 6.99 three-cone drill. He put up 20 bench press reps. Showed great hands in the position drills as well.

Strengths

Strong character guy who has tape to show outstanding production in 2005. Physical back who can make a cut and break a tackle. Big and will smack you down. Breaks tackles. Enough speed to run to daylight, and really finishes his runs.

Weaknesses

Injury history coupled with the fact that he had little production in '07-08 really hurts. Lacked home run speed even before the injury.

Projection

6th-UDFA who stood only a chance at being a short yardage specialist and STs player, but really produced at his Pro Day. Remember, this is the guy who kept the now-highly-regarded Gartrell Johnson on the bench all those years.
