Overview

Was a standout high school quarterback. Redshirted in 2003 and saw very limited work in 2004. Received increased plaing time in 2005 and became a starter in 2006. Named 1st Team All-MWC for Special Teams and 2nd All-Conference Team as a Safety. irst player to be named 1st Team All-Mountain West for Special Teams in Conference History and finished 15 yards shy of Davey O'Brien's record at TCU for Punt Return yards.

Strengths

Bonner is an extremely athletic. Looks very comfortable playing in the box in support of the run and is more than capable of shedding blocks between the tackles considering he's a FS propect. When committed he provides excelent coverage in pass defense especially going North & South. Is a nationally ranked Top 10 Punt Returner.

Weaknesses

Bonner can be hesitant in his reads and shows very little lateral quickness when in pursuit to the edge. Can over pursue and sometimes takes bad angles.

Projection

Bonner could possibly go as high as an early 6th Round pick or go undrafted depending on teams needs at the end of the draft. Bonner's return capabilities are added value.
