Overview

Robiskie was taught football from when he was little kid. His father played in the NFL and is currently the WR coach for the Atlanta Falcons. Not very highly recruited coming out of high school, Robiskie went on to have a great career as a Buckeye. He also ran track at OSU and was part of the Big 10's second fastest 4 x100 meter relay team.

Ran well at the Combine, (4.49/4.51 unofficially) with a 37.5" BJ, a 6.72 3-cone and a 4.19 short shuttle. Impressed the socks off everyone in the interview process. At the Ohio State Pro Day, Brian cemented his 40-times with a 4.52 and a 4.54

Strengths

Very fast and quick both in straight-line speed and in cuts. Runs very solid routes and always knows how to give his quarterback the best possible opportunity for him to catch the ball. Really improved over his career in finding the soft spots in the defense especially against a zone scheme and racking up the receptions. The leading receiver on two very talented Ohio State teams. Great size at 6-3 and nearly 200 pounds. Was a very solid special teams player throughout his tenure at OSU and will probably be relied to do the same in the NFL. Good natural hands. Off-the-charts football IQ. Will have almost no learning curve to worry about.

Weaknesses

Can sometimes disappear at times during a game. Could really improve his blocking. Loses focus at times and drops balls he shouldn't. Has been given a lot of advantages during his life, and may not be quite as hungry as some people.

Projection

Robiskie is a tremendous all around WR and his game translates well to the NFL. However, in these past few drafts it has become increasingly harder to be drafted in the first round as a wideout. Should be taken in the 2nd to 3rd round.
