Overview

2008 -- First Team All-Big 12

Strengths

Huge, smooth athlete who runs very well and catches everything in his area. Graceful and explosive in the open field but will also lower his shoulders and run over defenders. Adjusts very well to poorly thrown passes and can both box out and out- jump defenders with his huge frame and long wingspan. Plays his best in big games.

Weaknesses

Plays in the slot in the Sooner's offense and has little experience in the traditional tight end role. Doesn't block well and needs considerable coaching in this department. Elected to return for his senior season despite a first-round grade for the '09 draft, and blew out his knee on the eve of the season.

Projection

Could have returned for another season, but elected to come out despite the injury. Everything depends on how his knee checks out at the combine. If healthy and he can put on the same dazzling athletic show people have grown accustomed to, he may very well sneak into the late-first round.

best reciving TE i have seen in a long time, with a grate Natl Champ game so far his stock is going way up!
