Plays with confidence and a touch of swagger. Solid overall mechanics and delivery. Can run a little. Has been extremely productive at a low level of competition. Displays touch and solid short-to-mid range accuracy. Nice easy motion. Rhythm passer. Throws well on the move. Strong runner in short yardage and sneak situations.
WeaknessesStreaky passer who passes primarily out of the shotgun. Stats are inflated by facing below-average college DBs on a regular basis. Doesn't call plays much, and doesn't really work a progression. Telegraphs at times. Takes off and runs more than he should, and far more than he'll be able to do effectively at the next level. Has not always played his best in big games, and may find the step up to the NFL is like climbing Mt. Everest. Slings the ball. Tries to put the ball into places where it won't fit. Gets in ruts with his adrenaline running where every ball is high. Ball wobbles. Throws a lot of interceptions. Below average velocity. May need lots of time to refine his skills.
