OverviewIngram flirted with declaring early for the 2008 NFL Draft, but decided that another year at Florida would suit him better. Unfortunately, the 2008 season was a wash for him due to injuries.
LATE NOTE: Was impressive at the Combine, running an unofficial 4.68/4.62 at 245 pounds, and also jumping 33" with a 7.12 3-cone drill. He also really wowed the assembled scouts at the Florida Pro Day, proving that he was fully back from injury by running 4.72/4.69, with a 9'6" broad jump, and catching and running very smoothly in the positional drills. StrengthsTrue seam stretcher with soft hands. Smooth hips. Looks almost like a wide receiver in and out of cuts. Can block OK when called upon to do so. Chiseled and strong. Low mileage vehicle with plenty of horse power.
WeaknessesInjury history. Limited body of film. Not ever going to be a force as an in-line blocker. Not as fast as you want a non-blocking stretch TE to be, ideally.
ProjectionCould be in the mix for the second TE drafted...some time early in the second round would seem appropriate.

Date/Time: 09/28/2008 - 6:13PM CDT Predicted Round: Round 7 Basically an oversized WR who will be coming off his second major knee surgery and offers zero blocking ability. Worth a late-round flier in case his knee gets strong and he keeps his explosiveness and leaping ability. Great hands and he has ST experience User: Hootlander Date/Time: 01/2/2008 - 12:52AM CST Predicted Round: Round 4 Could be a good pick here. Bills need a big fast pass catching TE. Couldn't find a 40 time but being an ex-QB I am assuming he has some speed. Rate This Player |
