Overview

Strengths

Graceful, smooth running back who lowered his pad level and ran much more effectively in '09. Natural runner who displays vision, patience and acceleration through the hole. Has the speed to bounce it outside - his preferred running style prior to this season - but now does much of his work inside, where he generally runs with good body lean, breaks arm tackles and finishes his runs going forward. Dangerous once he gets into the open field, and is a good receiver. Solid blocker.

Weaknesses

Not a big back and lacks homerun speed. Will occasionally run upright and take big shots, and has been injury prone. Fumbles too often. Too often relies on the cut block.

Projection

Good talent will be a solid mid-round pick, possibly as high as the low-second. Might not be a feature back, but should be a contributor.
