Overview

Strengths

Big lineman well schooled in pass protection. Drops quickly into his sets, plays with a nice base and uses his hands well. Looks to be in better shape than in '08 and seems to have improved his footwork. Can run and get to the second level. Nice wingspan.

Weaknesses

Not a fluid athlete and can be beaten by second moves and misdirection. Top-heavy and stiff; movements appear herky-jerky. Not a natural knee bender and is too upright; can be bulled. Lacks explosion and power and is more of a finesse blocker.

Projection

Big tackle a backup/practice squad candidate and should go in the later rounds.
