Overview

Strengths

Former safety brings great athleticism to the LB position. Great agility and range; flows to the football and makes plays sideline-to-sideline. Great open field tackler. Might be best LB in nation in pass coverage. Moves fluidly in zones and can man up vs. virtually any back or TE and win the battle. Used in man coverage in the slot vs. wide receivers, and can hang downfield. Quick off the edge as a blitzer and attacks RBs. Sound tackler in the box and a good hitter.

Weaknesses

Not big and is still learning the LB position. Doesn't always diagnose blocking schemes and gets lost in the wash. Can be handled one-on-one. Has had some injuries.

Projection

Intriguing prospect too talented not to get drafted, probably in the middle rounds. 4-3 weakside backer or SS; at least a fine nickel player and should excel on special teams.
