OverviewCullen is a 2004 graduate of Sequoya High School in Alpharetta, GA who played just two games at Sequoyah as a senior due to injury. Bryant threw for 1,123 yards, 14 scores, and a 50.0 completion percentage as a junior year though, and was named an All-Southeast Region selection by PrepStar, as well as the 28th-best pro-style quarterback in the nation by Rivals.com and the 32nd-best prospect in Georgia by Rivals.com. Cullen was all named a memeber of the All-Dixie team by SuperPrep. He played quarterback in the Georgia North-South All-Star game in December of 2003. In those two games as a senior, he completed 15 of 24 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown. Cullen was also named an "Elite 11" quarterback finalist.
At Clemson, Cullen redshirted in 2004, and completed one pass on 2 attempts for 15 yards as a RS freshman in 2005. In 2006, he went 14 of 20 for 155, 2/0 as Will Proctor's backup. In 2007, he really lit up the ACC to the tune of 268-2991, 27/6, and received numorous post-season awards including 2nd-team all ACC honors. Cullen was named a preseason "ACC Offensive Player of the Year" entering his senior season in 2008. Was invited to the combine, but did not really distinguish himself there. LATE NOTE: Ran 4.86/4.90 at the Clemson Pro Day with a 7.33 3-cone drill. He stood on his Combine numbers for everything else. StrengthsStands in and delivers a nice ball. Feels pressure and gets away from it. Strong enough arm to make all the throws he will have to make. Adequate NFL size and strength.
WeaknessesHas only done it one year since his junior year in high school, and the offseason press clippings between his junior and senior years at Clemson seemed to really have gotten to him. His involvement in the firing of head coach, Tommy Bowden, at midseason will need to be fully assessed. Seems to get rattled and to lack the intangibles that the great ones have. Lacks escape ability and foot speed. May be immature, and may doubt his abilities. Is not accurate deep. Does not seem to know how to finish. Streaky and moody. Physically everything seems to be there, but there is something not quite right...
Projection4-5th rounder at the beginning of the season who has probably slid near the end of the draft or into free agency with a combination of factors that began with the firing of head Coach Tommy Bowden.

Date/Time: 04/24/2009 - 9:17AM CDT Predicted Round: Round 6 Was considered a top prospect before Clemson's awful year. Still has tons of talent and is very competitive. Will need time and coaching, but could become the next Phil Rivers. Tough, but has to stay healthy. Character concerns are way overblown. Injuries have really derailed his career so far.
