Overview

Strengths

Very physical player with the ideal frame/build for the NFL. Complete safety who can thump in the box and run the deep middle vs. the pass. Big hitter and a reliable open-field tackler. Closes hard vs. the run. Strong and plays with leverage. Nice instincts and good range. Has hands for the pick. Can cover TEs & RBs man-to-man, and has a nice feel in zones. Plays on special teams.

Weaknesses

Not huge for a safety and lacks top-end speed. Not agile enough to cover WRs or play in the slot. Didn't have the same impact in '09 as he had in prior seasons.

Projection

Mid-round pick who's ticket will be special teams. Probable starter down the road.
