Overview

Senior Bowl invitee. Measurements - arm: 33.0" hand: 9.5" Notes: A big guy, with a real barrel chest.

Strengths

Rapidly ascending player got better every week and had a fine performance in the national championship game. Former running back; still plays FB in short yardage situations. Top athlete for the position, combining quickness, agility and explosiveness. Very strong upper body, nice agility/change-of-direction ability and good speed. Good balance and keeps his feet. Quick off the ball and gets penetration. Disruptive vs. both the run and pass. Pursues hard and doesn't give up on a play. Can play both DT and DE. Best football still in front of him.

Weaknesses

Only has two years of experience on the DL. Not very tall and probably can't add more weight without sacrificing quickness. Can be engulfed by big OLs. 4-3 prospect only.

Projection

Combine and Senior Bowl will be key. When all is said and done, may hear his name called in the second round. Has the athletic tools to develop into a starting DT a few years down the road.
