OverviewIntriguing developmental type: DE? OLB? ILB? 3-4? 4-3?
LATE NOTE: At the Houston Pro Day, he showed up slightly lighter than during the regular season and ran 4.75/4.76. He also displayed a 41.5" vertical jump, a 9'8" broad jump, a 4.22 short shuttle, a 6.91 3-cone time, with 14 bench reps. Showed the potential during position drills to possibly transition to LB. StrengthsExperienced. VERY productive. Strong for his size. Good initial burst. Nice size-speed ratio. Just keeps getting better. Good Shrine Game week. Gets after the QB and had double figures in sacks this past season. Has the lateral movement skills to be looked at as an OLB conversion candidate.
WeaknessesStiff. Tight-hipped. Did his damage against a lower level of competition. Has never shown he can play OLB, and lacks size for a Pro 4-3 DE.
ProjectionLate second day - but could blossom in the right situation.
